Hed Yaron-Meyerson

Violin

Born in Tel-Aviv, Hed Yaron Meyerson is assistant concertmaster of The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and leader of the second violins in The Orchestra of the 18th Century. Following studies with such diverse personalities as Ana Chumachenco, Reinhard Goebel and Ryo Terakado, he was a member of The Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, The "OAE Experience" Scheme and The European Union Baroque Orchestra. He regularly performs as a guest leader both with modern orchestras (Antwerp Symphony Orchestra) and early music ensembles (Il Gardellino, Ensemble Pygmalion). 3rd prizewinner at the International Bach Competition Leipzig (2018), Hed is an avid chamber musician and has performed in the lunch concert series at The Berliner Philharmonie, at The Bachwoche Ansbach, in Harpa (Reykjavik) and in performances for radio and TV. He is a founding member of the Tamuz Ensemble and has been a teacher at the Rotterdam University of the Arts - CODARTS since 2018. fields and content.
